What devices are supported with Samsung Pay?

Is Samsung Pay Secure?

To protect your information, Samsung Pay uses tokenization to process your payments. Instead of transmitting your physical card number, each card is assigned a unique sequence of numbers called a “token;” the token is encrypted so your personal account information is never shared with merchants. Additionally, your device is secured with your fingerprint and a PIN code; this is required to make a purchase.

 

How do I use Samsung Pay?

You can open Samsung Pay from the Home screen, Apps menu or Lock screen. To access your Favorite Cards, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Swipe to the card you wish to use for the transaction. Verify your identity by placing your finger on the Home button. To use your Samsung Pay PIN, touch PIN and enter your four-digit PIN. Place the back of your device on the card or NFC reader on the payment terminal.

Where can I use Samsung Pay?

Samsung Pay is accepted virtually anywhere you can swipe or tap your card. You can also make In-App purchases when you see the “Samsung Pay” button at checkout in supported merchant apps. See a list of participating merchants at www.samsung.com.

Which FSFCU Visa® cards will I be able to use with Samsung Pay?

All FSFCU Visa® Debit cards, Classic, Gold and Platinum credit cards are eligible for use with Samsung Pay.

 

Will FSFCU charge a fee when I use Samsung Pay?

FSFCU will not charge our members a usage fee.

 

How do I add my FSFCU Visa® card to Samsung Pay?

Open the Samsung Pay app. Navigate to top of screen and select Add. Touch Add a credit card or debit card. Align your card inside of the frame and Samsung Pay will automatically detect the card number and expiration date. Enter any remaining required information and follow the screen prompts.

 

What happens when FSFCU sends me a new card after it is added to Samsung Pay? How do I remove an old card from Samsung Pay?

When a new card is issued to you by FSFCU, with an updated expiration date or new card number, the old card will need to be removed from Samsung Pay. Open the Samsung Pay app, click Credit/Debit Cards and select the card you need removed. Navigate to top right corner and touch the dots for more information, select Delete Card. If you accidentally delete the wrong card you will have to add the card again

 

What if my FSFCU card is lost or stolen after it is added to Samsung Pay?

If you believe your device or Samsung Pay card information has been lost, stolen or compromised in any way, call us immediately at 580-353-2124 or toll free at 800-654-9885 and mention that you participate in Samsung Pay. You should also remove the lost or stolen card from Samsung Pay app. When you receive your replacement card, you will need to add the new card to Samsung Pay before use.

How do I use Samsung Pay in-store?

To pay in-store simply unlock your mobile device and and place it near a contactless terminal.

 

How close to the payment terminal do I have to have my mobile device when using Samsung Pay?

Your mobile device needs to be very close to the payment terminal and may need to be touching the terminal in some instances.
