Fort Sill Federal Credit Union is proud to offer you, our member, shared branching! You now have access to over 40 credit unions in Oklahoma and more than 4,000 nation and worldwide where you can conduct your financial transactions. Just look for the “swirl”!What is Shared Branching?
Shared branching is exactly what it sounds like, a collection of credit unions across the United States that allow one another to “share” their branches. As a member of a participating credit union, you can conduct a number of transactions at anyone of these branches within the network. The branches are identified by the shared branching “swirl”.
Is it Safe?
Absolutely. It is as safe as coming into one of FSFCU’s branches.
How Much Does it Cost?
Shared branching is a free service to our members.
Just look for the “swirl”.
Do I Have to Sign Up?
No. If you are a member of a participating credit union, you can automatically use any shared branch.
How Does it Work?
Go to any branch with a “swirl” and provide the branch teller with the following:
- Your credit union’s name
- Your account number
- A valid government-issued photo I.D., such as a state driver’s license, military I.D. or passport
What Transactions Can I Conduct?
You can conduct any of the following transactions at any shared branch:
- Cash/Check deposits
- Cash/Check withdrawals
- Loan payments
- Transfer between accounts
- Statement printouts
- Purchase money orders*
- Purchase travelers checks*
- Purchase official checks*
- View details on all transactions
Where Can I Find a Shared Branch?
You can find a shared branch virtually everywhere, from the east coast to the west coast to around the world! Wish FSFCU was near you on the beach on vacation? Now we are. Did your job relocate you thousands of miles away? We’ve got you covered. No matter your reason, you can conduct your real-time transactions at any participating branch.
